I'm fascinated by all aspects of a house - the exteriors, architecture, and floor plans to interior finishes, hardware, paint colors, and fabric. And I think the real magic happens once the walls are up and the decorating begins. That's when it really becomes your own.
My husband, Bryson, and I spent nine months renovating a forgotten 1950s Cape Cod in Durham, North Carolina...in our first year of marriage... while also "raising" our Bernese Mountain Dog, Winston. Along the way, I've come to realize making a house a home makes me happy.
